Dr. Chris Bowe was born and raised in St. Louis, and has practiced Internal Medicine in South County for twenty-five years.
After receiving his degree at the University of Notre Dame, he graduated from the University of Missouri Medical School in Columbia, and then did his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa. A long-standing member of the American College of Physicians, Dr. Bowe met the requirements for attaining the status of Fellow. His practice places an emphasis on preventive medicine, geriatric care, and is geared toward unique patient-centered care. Dr. Bowe has been involved in numerous leadership activities at St. Anthony's Medical Center and has been active in Care Management and Quality Improvement.
In September, 2013, Dr. Bowe was named President of St. Anthony’s Physician Organization and received an additional honor by becoming the fourth member of the Office of the President of St. Anthony’s.
Dr. Bowe is married with four children. Community activities have included coaching youth and high school sports teams, Boy Scout leadership, and charitable work. He is currently on the Physicians Ambassadors Board for the St. Anthony's Charitable Foundation, and at a number of charitable events has done a stand-up comedy routine.
